Children's Ministries

Children’s Ministry

Children are invited forward for a special message that is age appropriate and focused on helping children understand the sermon and/ or readings for the day. Children can also participate in worship by using a Worship Bag found in the black baskets. Each bag is filled with items to help a child stay focused during worship and be creative. Children are also encouraged to use the Worship Art forms inside the bags to illustrate the sermon or worship for the day. The drawings are displayed for the congregation to see!

Youth Ministry

Youth Ministry

The Lord has blessed Concordia with fantastic youth, supportive parents, an encouraging congregation, and a specific age group structure. The youth program is broken down into the following three groups:

Junior Youth 7th and 8th Grades
Senior Youth 9th thru 12th Grades
Young Adults Post High School
Scouts

Scouts

Scouting is a year-round program for boys 11 through 17 designed to achieve the goals established of the Boy Scouts of America through a vigorous outdoor program and peer group leadership with the counsel of an adult Scoutmaster. Boys also may become Boy Scouts if they have earned the Cub Scouting Arrow of Light Award and are at least 10 years old and have completed the fifth grade and are at least 10 years old.

Concordia Seniors

Concordia Prime Timers 55+

Concordia Prime Timers is an organization for those who are 55 years and older to get together with fellow congregants and friends for monthly fellowship and worship experiences with the goal of leading happy, fulfilling lives, and to grow in faith in Christ.

Prime Timers meet on the second Monday of each month in the Emmaus Room at 11:30am. We share meals (covered dish), enjoy special programs, entertainment, and participate in organized day trips.

Music Ministry

Music Ministry

For over 140 years, the people of Concordia Lutheran have worshipped God through music. Presently, we offer a Sanctuary Choir, Hand Bell Choir, and Praise Team for people to participate in and we gladly welcome new members to all groups. Membership in the choirs is open to all individuals who enjoy music and are able to make the time commitment necessary to attend rehearsals and worship services. Accordingly, the Concordia Music Ministry strives to offer training and performance opportunities of the highest possible caliber in a supportive and joyful environment.
